You can Build your own web site and it will be a lot better than if you have someone do it for you.

What, you say? I can build my own web site better than a designer?

Absolutely!! Even if you have no experience at all building a web site and know little about the Internet, you can build your own web site and do it better than any designer would.

What do I mean by 'Better'?

When I talk about building a web site that is better than a designer, I am talking about your site's ability to be found by the Search Engines.  I mean, what is a web site that cannot be found in the top 30? (the first three pages of the search results)?

To me, if you cannot be found in the top 30 results, then your web site is worthless.  So even the greatest designers in the world are not worth a dime unless they design sites that Search Engines will index into the top 30 results and even better into the top 10. 

Consider this: 

One real estate agent pays $1,000 plus $300 annually for hosting to have a web site built that has an MLS search engine, all of the agent's latest listings and information telling clients all about the agent.  A second agent builds a site about one of the hot local neighborhoods.  He puts pictures of the community, information about the community, perhaps some videos or audio and very focused keywords to help web surfers find his site on the Search Engines.  He spent less than $300 for the site and hosting annually.

The first has a really pretty site, but no one can find it on Google unless they specifically search for the agents name. 

The second site is winning for searches containing the community's name.

The first has no traffic.

The second gets one to two warm leads weekly which he calls and sets up appointments with.

Which site is BETTER?????

In my opinion, the better site is the one that makes the second Realtor money. Period.
