It would be hard to argue that a well-built basic site could ever
look as nice as a well-built Flash site. Flash sites have
movement, cool transitions, music, sounds and that cool sound
equalizer that you can turn on and off.
Being “flashy” does come with a price, and
what suffers is Search
Engine Optimization. Where Flash arguably looks the best,
it performs the very worst when it comes to helping your site with
Search Engines rankings.
Flash is
nearly invisible to the Search Engines.
They simply don't read past the head information on the page.
If your site is built totally in Flash, you probably will never be
ranked by the Search Engines.
That being said, our goal when creating sites is that they be found
on the web by surfers. We want your site to bring you
more business and make you more money. As a result, we
normally don’t build Flash-only sites.
