XSitePro Add Ons

Here are some XSitePro Add Ons that will really help you in developing a great looking and more important, a great-performing website using the very best program I have ever found to develop websites.

1. DHTML Menu Studio is the product of choice for building professional menus for your websites.  The menu system that comes with XSP is okay at best.  This $49 add-on will really set your sites apart.  I use this product for all of my websites.
2. Photo editor  With any website building tool, XSP being no exception, you will need a photo editing tool.  Of choice for me is Fireworks, which is available as part of Adobe's Creative Suite 3 Web Premium software bundle or sold separately.  Fireworks is a lot like Photoshop which is also available from Adobe, but makes your images work better for you.  You will also be able to build headers, custom footers, and other graphics for your site.
3. Notepad - located on your PC for free you will find a little program called Notepad.  It is invaluable as an XSitePro Add Ons.  Why?  Because it allows you to copy and paste text without format variables.  Say someone emails you a word document they want added to their site.  If you copy from the Word Document strait to XSP then you will get tons of extra code and the site will look funky.  That code is the formatting information that is embedded in Word.  Best bet is to copy the text into Notepad, then copy and paste it into XSP.  You will get only text with no formatting.  Much cleaner and better way to start / build a page.
4. Great reseller hosting - One thing is for sure --  If you want to be able to control much of your client's web experience, you should look into reseller web site hosting.  It offers you a way to build a little residual income, but more important, it allows you to get into their sites' control panels and make any adjustments that you need to make their site function correctly. 
5. InSpyder InSite: is a site wide spell-checking, link checking, spider that is absolutely essential.  Why?  Because even though XSitePro has a great spell-check, it does it page-by-page and it doesn't catch everything.  For example, XSitePro will not find spelling errors in your meta tags.  InSite will.  XSitePro will not find the errors of broken links.  InSite will.  For $50, you will be way more professional and efficient.
